The ballast “Refco-JS-AA-YZ40Z” is assembled in accordance with our specifications that take account of the effects of voltage fluctuations in Uganda.

It can withstand short durations of extreme voltage variations down to 130 Volts and up to 290 Volts. Within this range the ballast is able to start and light the tubes normally.

The electronic ballast Refco-JS-AA-YZ40Z has a power factor not less than 0.90, and a luminous efficacy (lumens/Watt) of not less than 0.95 in compliance with IEC 928 or BS5489. 

The ballast “JS-AA-YZ40Z” can be installed either as a RETROFIT item to replace existing electromagnetic chokes, or; as a COMPOSITE item, in factory pre-wired fittings.

In both instances, we can assist Contractors to procure the suitable system directly through us from our manufacturers, depending on the job at hand.
